Terence J Pitkin B.Com., Dip. Bus. Stud.

Terry graduated from the University of Newcastle as a part-time student while working at a BHP subsidiary company.

His subsequent roles in BHP were centred around financial and administrative management in Newcastle, Wollongong, Port Hedland and Melbourne. As Assistant Treasurer he coordinated the financial and legal aspects of BHP’s multi-billion acquisition of Utah Mining in New York.

A career change took him into the airline industry, where he served on the boards of many of Australia’s regional airlines, and then into transportation with TNT, serving on boards and committees in Australia, China, North America and Europe.

Before joining Sureway’s Board, Terry managed the ASX listing of an automotive company and was extensively involved in the work through of the Maritime Union / Patrick Stevedores waterfront dispute.

Terry was born in Tenterfield and is now a resident of Newcastle.

Alan F Howell B.Com.

Alan is also a graduate of the University of Newcastle and a previous employee of BHP Billiton.

His early career path saw him involved in software development in Australia and Fiji before gaining extensive experience in accounting¸ treasury and financial management in the steel and oil and gas divisions of BHP. These appointments saw him located for extended periods in USA and U.K.

Alan was appointed Finance Manager for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games Committee and has since consulted to and advised various Olympic and Commonwealth Games bidding cities in various parts of the world.

Alan now divides his leisure time between his apartment in Port Melbourne, a house in Sorrento and whatever golf course he can find.

Judy L Galloway Dip. Admin & V.E.

Judy Galloway is the Founder of Sureway and has been involved in the delivery of Employment Services for over 20 years. She was Chief Executive Officer of Sureway Employment and Training from 1996 until 2009, when she stepped back into a non-executive role. 

Judy began delivering training to long-term job seekers in the early 1990's prior to securing a Federal Government Job Network contract. 

Having spent her whole life in regional Australia she has a strong appreciation of the issues facing rural communities and has spent much of her waking hours addressing issues of employment and training.

Judy was a Board Member of the Southern Sports Academy for 10 years, acting as Chairperson of that organisation for four years. She is also a member of the Committee for Wagga Wagga.

Judy remains passionate in her desire to assist regional communities in particular the more disadvantaged within those communities.

Paul (Senior) L Galloway

Paul was born in Wagga Wagga and has been an active and prominent member of that community all his life. He received his secondary education at The Scot's College in Sydney.

Paul has enjoyed a long career in the construction industry and property development and has managed the expansion of Sureway’s infrastructure from two offices in 2003 to forty five offices today.

He is a past president and current member of Wagga Wagga Rotary Club and an active member of the well travelled Wagga Rugby Old Boys Choir.

Paul has been an enthusiastic participant in local sporting bodies, in particular the Southern Inland Rugby Union and the Wagga Wagga & NSW Softball Association.

His recreational interests include golf, skiing and treking.
