Pathways to Big W

 Employment Trainer Phil Snow is excited to be part of an innovative training concept partnering with Big W in Parkes.  Phil delivered a "Step Up To Retail" with Big W including accredited modules to train job seekers in the specific retail skills required at Big W.

All 7 participants are now invovled in work experience placements and from all reports being well recieved by management and staff at Big W.  Management has advised that all suitable job seekers will be offered work.

Hospitality and Retail are fundamental industries in Kyneton Victoria.  A sleepy town during on weekdays, the area thrives on weekends and holidays with Melbournians taking the 90km drive to the picturesque escape destination.

Recognising exciting work opportunities for the Kyneton locals, Sureway have made valuable contacts with local business owners resulting in a program planned for end July
