Sureway’s Quality Management System

OBJECTIVES

Sureway is contracted to provide employment services and training services by the Commonwealth and State Government, and is a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our Vision is to be the best provider of employment and training solutions in the country. Our Mission is to deliver innovative employment and training solutions to meet the needs of business and individuals.

Sureway’s Quality Management System (QMS) supports compliance with the following accreditation and standards:

  • The National Standards for Disability Services, which is Sureway’s primary accreditation for Employment Services
  • The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’ Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) requirements
  • ISO 27001 Information Security Management and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations’ Right Fit for Risk IT Security Frameworks
  • The Australian Skills Quality Authority’s National Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), which provides regulatory obligations for Sureway’s training services, and
  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards, which provides regulatory obligations for Sureway’s NDIS support programs

SCOPE

This Policy applies to all full time, part time and casual employees, governing body members, any other people doing work on behalf of Sureway Group and its related entities (including licensees, contractors and sub-contractor staff).

This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Sureway Quality Manual.

Policy statement

Sureway is committed to:

  • Ensuring all customer expectations are determined, understood and consistently met
  • Ensuring all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are identified, applied and consistently met
  • Continual improvement of the QMS by ensuring risks and opportunities are identified, assessed and managed to ensure conformity and enhance customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

Members of Sureway’s Executive Team are responsible for the effectiveness of the QMS, including:

  • Setting and maintaining the Quality Manual and this Policy
  • Setting quality objectives through its Strategic Plan, that align with Sureway’s Purpose, Vision and Mission
  • Promoting the use of a process approach and risk-based thinking
  • Ensuring adequate resources are available to manage the QMS
  • Ensuring adequate induction and ongoing training on the QMS is provided to staff
  • Promoting the importance of the QMS and adherence to its requirements
  • Engaging, directing and supporting staff, suppliers and service providers to contribute to the effectiveness and improvement of the QMS
  • Actively promoting continuous improvement
  • Supporting Organisation Leaders and Senior Managers to demonstrate their leadership of the QMS
  • Ensuring this Policy is made available via the Sureway external website

 

Sureway’s Organisation Leaders and Senior Managers are responsible for:

  • Championing the expected behaviour of employees to support the QMS
  • Actively supporting and adhering to Sureway’s QMS
  • Ensuring staff receive support, training and have adequate resources to fulfill their responsibilities under the QMS
  • Raising opportunities for improvement

Sureway staff are responsible for:

  • Actively supporting and adhering to Sureway’s QMS
  • Raising opportunities for improvement
